Objective
Design and create a cookbook or magazine with a consistent layout. Establish a theme and develop a clear vision making sure that everything, including the visuals and content, flows from this main idea.
Concept
"Recetas de mi Mama" is a cookbook that features recipes from my mother. In addition to presenting my mother's cooking, this project provided a fantastic opportunity for me to strengthen my ties to my Mexican culture.
The cookbook's cover and a few of its chapters feature original illustrations. The images and illustrations together would give the book a cozy, homemade impression. Because the cookbook is centered around my culture and my mother's recipes, I chose to write it entirely in Spanish.
